Description

60 creative ways to deal with cheaters — 12 brand new. Payback gives admins an arsenal of punishment cards — from butterfingers that make cheaters drop their gun, to bee swarms that chase them across the map, to loading them into a cannon and launching them into the ocean. Stack multiple cards on one player. Apply to their entire team. All from an in-game admin panel.

Battle-tested on Mango, Vortex, and Rustopia. Rust devs confirmed this plugin is allowed on Community and Official servers.

How It Works

  • Look at a player and run a command — or target by name or SteamID
  • Cards stack — Drunk + Spinbot + Swarm on the same player. Maximum chaos.
  • Team mode — add team after any command to hit the whole squad
  • Persist across restarts — cards survive server restarts and plugin reloads (configurable)
  • Zero dependencies — drop it in and go

Combat

Card Alias What It Does
Pacifism pf Target deals zero player damage. Attacked players get notified that a known cheater can't hurt them.
Butterfingers bf % chance to drop weapon when shooting. Scales with magazine size.
InstantKarma in Zero damage output + 35% of damage reflected back to them.
Dud Zero damage to non-player entities. No farming, no raiding, no tool use.
OverCompensation recoil Massive recoil on every shot.
Blowback bb Target is flung backwards when they damage another player. Add kill for lethal force.
BuggedGun bug Weapons randomly malfunction and unequip.
DrNo dr Target can no longer heal from any source.
Masochist ms Prevent F1 kill — no easy escape.
Taxman NEW tax Silently deletes a % of all resources gathered. Add 1-100 to set the tax rate.

Captures

Card Alias What It Does
Sit Spawn a chair, force them to sit. They respawn back into it. Add beach or gamer for chair variants.
Hogwild hog Admin mounts and rides the cheater around like a pig.
Spitroast roast Pin target to a rotisserie spit over a fire. Add fast for extra spin.
Train tr Hogtie target to the ground, then run them over with a train.
RecyclePlayer re Feed the cheater into a recycler.
Interrogate sack Hood over their head — they can't see unless they speak. Supports spectate mode.
Cannonball NEW cb Load target into a cannon. Admin mounts to aim, lights the fuse, fires. Add kill for lethal landing.
CatapultLaunch NEW cat / yeet Load target into a catapult. Admin aims and fires.

Launches

Card Alias What It Does
Rocketman rm Strap a rocket to them and launch.
PoopRocket poop / pr Propelled through the air using organic fuel systems.
HigherGround hg Teleported 100m into the air.
AirStrike as F-15 fighter jet annihilates the target. Add precision to target what you're looking at.
Bonk bk Target is bonked into the ground.
Fingerbang Finger gun — ragdolls the target on hit. Add kill for lethal shots.

Creatures

Card Alias What It Does
ChickenChaser ch Horde of super-speed animals that only attack the target. Supports: chicken, bear, wolf, boar, stag, tiger, panther, croc, zombie, or all. Add invincible.
Shark jaws A shark swims in and drags the target underwater.
Swarm NEW sw / bees Angry bee swarms chase the target. Add 1-50 for count. Bees die in water, smoke, or fire.
Woods bear A bear attacks when target farms wood or stone. Add landmine to strap mines to the bear's face.

Disorientation

Card Alias What It Does
BSOD bs Fake blue-screen-of-death. Add public to show it to everyone.
PotatoMode potato Frame rate crashes over time. Add 1-100 to control speed.
LagSwitch lag Constant rubberbanding. Add a number to change simulated ping.
Flash fl Flashbanged repeatedly.
Spinbot NEW spin Camera spins with escalating intensity — 30 deg/s to 360+ deg/s over 60 seconds.
Earthquake NEW eq / quake Escalating screen shake and rumble. Gets more intense over time.
Drunk NEW dk Screen blur + view wobble + stumble + vomit FX. Hydration zeroed out.

Humiliation

Card Alias What It Does
Naked nk Force drop entire inventory.
Pinyata pin Inventory explodes out of them on death.
Snitch NEW sn Broadcasts grid position + loadout to all players every 30 seconds. Red 3D marker above their head. The whole server hunts them.
VerbalDiarrhea vd / shitter When target uses voice chat, they spew increasing amounts of horse dung.
Loudfoot NEW lf Tin can alarm triggers whenever they crouch-move.
Emote em Force target to perform an emote. Add emote name or list to see options.
Carrot NEW A floating item dances just out of reach ahead of the player. Perpetually unreachable.
Skibidi NEW Mount player in a toilet with continuous rotation. Yes, really.

Traps & Hazards

Card Alias What It Does
DogDoo dog Landmine spawns under them when they access a stash.
Minefield mine Continuous minefield generated around target (only hurts them). Add 1-100 for density.
Shocker sh Tesla coil mounted to target. Shocked to death. Affects nearby — disable after use.
Radiation rad Massive radiation damage.
SlowBurn sb Burned slowly over time.
Thirsty th Dehydrates rapidly.
Butterhooves NEW bh Inverts vehicle controls. Add forward too to also reverse movement.
StickyBomb Attach C4 to target player. Detonate at will.
NoPickup Target always drops items when they try to pick them up.

Admin Tools

Card Alias What It Does
Dana steal Steal target's entire inventory into yours.
ViewLoot loot View target's full inventory in real time.
Hammer ham Destroy all entities owned by whoever you hit. Add -noloot to delete loot too. Add 10-200 for radius.
Bag bg Print all players who bagged the target in, and all players they bagged. Add discord to log.
Batman bat Admin gets a bat. Sprint to triple power. Headshots kill.
Burn bu Admin gets a flamethrower.
NoRest nr Force respawn on death. No rest for the wicked.
Listen Cycle through players using voice chat. Great for catching mic spam.

Admin Panel

  • In-game UI — browse all 60 cards by category, search, apply with one click
  • Live status display — see all active cards on screen with animations
  • Card categories — Combat, Pain, Capture, Damage, Investigate, Status, New, Misc
  • Favorites — save your go-to cards for quick access
  • Sound effects — audio feedback on every action

Discord Integration

  • Command logging — log every payback action to a Discord webhook with admin name, card, and target
  • Game ban detection — get notified the moment a player on your server receives a game ban
  • Team logging — log the teammates of banned players

Card Persistence

Cards can survive server restarts and plugin reloads. Toggle persistence in config. Active cards are saved and automatically reapplied when the target reconnects. A cheater logging off doesn't save them.
